GT-40 install - Weird noise coming from intake?
 

I can hear what sounds to be a mechanical sound coming through the intake. My lifters don't sound like they are tapping, but it kinda sounds like they are when I put my ear against the intake. Is this normal? Please tell me it is!

It sounds like it could be a normal GT40 intake noise. I recall reading that GT40s are known for producing a very distinctive mechanical ringing. This is because of their tubular construction.

That's kinda what I was figuring. Plus I was told that pedastal mount roller rockers are pretty noisy so that sounds like what it is. Thanks.
