![]() Does anyone have experience with the SVO GT-40 (aluminum heads) long block (p/n: M6007XB3). Ford claims that it puts out 345 hp. Is this accurate? I mean you can get these suckers for around 3 grand. Is it me or is that almost too good to be true? Does anyone have direct experience with these longblock? Where can I get more info on them?

![]() Yeah I always wondered about that too. But it's a lot more than 3 grand. You have another $500-$600 for an intake another $200-$300 for a TB, $200 for headers, plus who knows how many other little accessories and parts. I bet just the engine alone would be $4500-$5500 when all was said and done, that probably not installed! Of course you could use all the parts off the HO engine in the stock car.
