Go the Trick Flow upper and lower. USE THE 90 MM unit that they just released. This will get you up to 500 hp on your stroker.
Did you use the street heat heads? I have my Twisted Wedge heads ported to the felpro 1262 gasket size. That makes my port just 1/4 inch shorter than a 428 CJ port. That was an awesome head. We ran 10's and 11's with those heads all through the 70's and 80's.
Remeber that the basic problem with the ford efi units is that they starve the front cylinders for air. I hope someone finds a good solution to this problem, cause the Chevy crowd is makin great power and torque with their set up.
Next time you have your heads off, replace the valve guides! My cast iron valve guides were destroyed by detonation. I had to replace all 16 valves, and am now using bronze guides.
I understand that the new TF heads use bronze, which is good because they take detonation MUCH better.
ROCK ON
