![]() I was wondering what all the problems i will run into putting a Ford GT40 302/345 hp crate engine into my 94 gt. I also want to go with the GT40 intake and 24lb injectors (which means new few pump, mass air meter, and probably regulator ) I have a 65 mm throttle bodie, Will any bigger help yet. I have a reburnable chip (can't remember what kind) in it now. I wonder if it can be reburned to work for the new motor(don't know much about the computer system). Then what about the timing cover and water pump?... Will any of the 93 and below ford crate engine install kit work for my 94. Any commits would be helpful.

![]() I'm not sure how the crate engien comes. I thought they didn't come with the accessories. If it doesn't just use your old ones and you should be fine.
A 65 mm TB should be plenty for your needs. If you purchase in Install kit, I'd be careful. You should talk to one of the phone tech support people before you buy. |
