gt40p heads combo! help!!
hey guys..
can you please help me.. here is what i'm about to do.. i have an 89 mustang with .30 over.. complete exhaust .. AOD tranny.. MSD coil and box.. runs good but i want to upgrade a little.. have a set of gt40p heads (already got headers) with new stock valve springs and keepers.. new ARP head bolts..a lower and upper intake of 98 mountaneir... that i want to install.. some of my friends told me install a e-303 cam since i'm going to have it open.. well if i do that.. i'm going to upgrade my converter to a 2500 stall .. or can i still run the stock converter??? does anybody have this set up already and can tell me anything about it.. ? i also understand i have to buy an elbow in to install my new intake... because i can't use my old one.. since the old one has a smaller throttle body.. please help me get mys set up right... please tell me what i need to get to do it right.. thanks in advance |

Re: gt40p heads combo! help!!
i would go at least a 3k stall with a front mount trans cooler. e cam will probably need more than stock valve springs. not sure what elbox your talking about. just use your current tb and egr spacer on the explorer intake.
