![]() I hate to do this, and bring up subjects over and over again... I DID search for this and found some posts about it... but I figured maybe different people will asnwer this one. The information tends to be inconlusive.
And here's the age old question: With TFS Twisted Wedge heads, 1.6 FMS rockers, stock cam and the recommended push rods, will I need to do anything to my pistons. then, if NOT, what cam can I get away with and still not worry about clearances. -as

![]() i used to run trick flow's with the stock pistons, with a 520 lift cam and never had any clearance issues. i think you need to start worrying if you go with a cam above 540 lift

![]() 1.6 is the stock rocker ratio, and the stock cam has 210 int 210 exh. and 444lift on intake and exhaust. i believe it has 115lsa too. if you are running the stock cam, you will have NO problems at all with those heads with the stock pistons.

![]() would it be best to go with 1.7s and the stock cam or just go with a different cam... I guess my real question is what cam can i go with before having to mess with pistons, wich I dont want to do

![]() Get the TFS stage-1 cam and 1.6 rockers.
The cam isnt all that expensive, and probably cheaper than a set of rockers!
