Post guys help with my door???

on my stang, i cant explain too well, but here goes,

on my passenger side door the little thing (post) is what i want to call it, where the door strike grabs to hold the door shut, well the little black plastic thing is broke on it, so now it has play in it, and rattles when i go over bumps? my question is, where can i get these? i looked at o-reilley and autozone, didnt really ask the workers, being i cant seem to get any service anyway.

I noticed my friends 85 dont even have these, but i need one. thnx for replies..

I think they are called strikers and you can get them from the ford dealership.

If I remember correctly they go for about 17 dollars each but come with the bolt and bracket.
I tried to get mine without the bolt and bracket and they said they don't come like that, you have to buy the whole thing.

I've seen them at PEP BOYS also, under the "HELP" brand name of parts. Not sure of the cost though. I believe there is some adjustment on these so try to make a mark where the old one is before you remove it.
