BFGoodrich vs. Goodyear

I was just curious but does goodyear have a tire that's similiar to BFGoodrichs' drag radial? The only one i could find that was kinda close was the Eagle F1. But how does that compare to BFG's drag radial as far as traction for the strip? Also is anyone using GY's Eagle HP Ultra Plus tires? I was thinking of buying 4 of those but if someone thinks otherwise:( ? And the poll i was just curious to see what you guys like better anyways.

Goodyear doesn't have a drag radial.

Re: BFGoodrich vs. Goodyear

do not get bf drag radials.they grip very good but they ware out so quick its not even funny, im talking u go to the track 1 time and u will see them waring that quick.i worker for goodyear for 5 years, they do have drag radials (Eagle SS DOT Drag Radials).i have neverused them so i dont know how well they work.the f1 are way over priced and there more of a handling and rain, plus like i said they are over priced.i would get a set of m/t they grip very good.nittos are pretty good too, they dont grip as good as the m/t but for ur power level they would be great, plus they are really good in they rain

Even though this post is from 2003, IMO the BFG are GTG, they are made of a softrer compound for better traction, and yes they will wear down faster because of it, but who said racing was cheap? lol. I run the MT Drag radials.
