Default h-pipes for stock headers and MAC catback

What O/R h-pipe do you think is best in terms of fit, durability and, of course, sound? The headers for now are stock, as are the cats, except the cat-back, which is MAC 2 1/2; I think the sound is terrific, but I want it meaner...and faster. I heard bad things about MACs (even though I have no complaints about my catback) and good things about BBK.
Thanks in advance
Just love my V8!!

Thumbs down

Don't get a Flowtech h-pipe, in my opinion. It was a bear mating it to the BBK equal lengths. I even had to saw off the bars that hook up to the crossmember. It gives it a great sound but it wasn't pretty installing it.

Exclamation Headers?

do not put headers on your stock mustang, you will lose bottom end torque majorly!! that is with the shorty headers. the long drops are the ones to go with, but they are a PIA to do. Mac headers a sh*t in my opinion! go with Bassani or BBK or FMPP.

A Bassani setup is top gun in my opinion - it also carries a stiffer price. If you've got the money can't go wrong with Bassani! We needed to be a little cost conscious side so we went with a complete MAC system, long-tubes, h-pipe, and cat-back. The long-tubes were a bear to install (all long-tubes are), fit of the MAC system is real nice, bolts together nicely, tucks to the car nicely, and the sound is deep and mean when you step into it.

I used the BBK EL shorties and offroad h-pipe.
Made 237rwhp on a stock motor with nothing more than and intake and exhaust!

p.s. I _just_ sold these (yesterday)
