Question harmonic balance??

I rebuilt mt 5.0 about 6yrs ago. I had the rotating assembly balanced inculding the harmonic balancer. Now the rubbe is showing its age (1987). Can I replace the harmonis balancer with a fliud damper without having to re-balance the hold rotating assembly.
