Harmonic balancer questions

Hey guys, sorry if I posted about this a couple weeks ago - been really busy with work so I haven't had much time to drop in.

Anywho, I'm looking to get a Fluidamper (sp?) for my stock block 302 due to the fact that a ProCharger will soon be under the hood. My question is, is it worth the $340 for the Fluidamper? Or, will my stock balancer work just fine. I will be running 11 psi at the manifold.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

I really don't think it's totally nessacary.

It's a nice upgrade but assuming your stock balancer is in good codition you should be fine.

I'm still using my stock balancer. My blower puts out around 11 psi also.

As long as you aren't revving to the moon (I shift at 6000), you should be alright.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will just keep the stock balancer. My motor will NOT see any more than 6000 with my "pill" from the MSD inginition.

Thanks again,

Check out the Power Adder Forum at http://www.corral.net There is a thread there titled "Harmonic Balancer + Centrifugal" that may help.
