briand has a good point. Sounds like a possible flywheel problem.
I replaced my flywheel with a new one when I did my clutch replacement. Eliminates the vibration problem and no worries about a cracked flywheel, either.
I have a near-stock 5.0 , have only had to do one clutch replacement since I've owned the car and I could go with the stock-quality iron flywheel for $100. so it was worth it. A steel flywheel is $225.
If you do frequent clutch replacements on a high HP Mustang this may not always be practical. Good insurance, though..
