head gaskets...GOOD ones

Sence the supercharger, I have blown a head gasket, twice. No not the same side. Is there a better head gasket than the fel-pros from Autozone?

your running the car too lean

Pull the plugs on a full boost run,and if they are white,it's definately running too lean, they should have a tan color to them if your running like you should be.

also the problem will not be fixed by using "good" head gaskets

The head gasket letting go is a blessing for you as it's the "weak" point in the chain as the saying goes.If it wasn't the head gasket that gave away, then it would be a piston, crank
or something else.

Well this time it is not a head gasket. I think it is a intake gasket. I also thing that the problems are from having a 12-1 fmu, hitting the rev limiter, then when it comes down and the sprark is reintroduced, BOOM. The plugs are tan, look good. Well reguardless the charger is comming off. If some one here wants it thats fine if not, E-bay.

o-ring the block and use copper HG sprayed with alum/silver spray paint from wal-mart!

As I said, it's not the head gasket this time. But anyway, I will remove the charger. I never had trouble with the NOS. So I am going that route.

I'll take the blower if you don't want it:D

no, give it to me! Wade's car is already fast enough:)

How much are you asking for the blower?

88workcar 03-26-2003 06:06 AM

The blower received less that 500 miles while I have had it, the guy before me was the original purchaser. He had it on the car for a total of 3 months. His car may have racked 1000 miles in that time. I have all brackets, bolts, pullies, belts, 3 fmu disc, 12-1, 10-1, 6-1, a pro-M 77, 30psi injectors, K&N, bypass valve, and what ever else I am forgetting about. I would like to get $2000, I'll pay shipping. I will not sell it for less than the total cost of a set of AFR 165s, pushrods, and gaskets, ect.....
