alright...im getting a MAC o/r h-pipe by next week. what exactly do headers do?? i can get bkk shorties (unequal length) for pretty cheap. my car is completely stock. what will these headers do for me? is it worth it?? are those the right headers?? thanx a ton

Headers allow the engine to "breathe" better by allowing more exhaust to escape and reduce back pressure.
They won't do you much good unless you buy a 2.5 inch exhaust and muffler system to go with that H pipe.
I, myself wouldn't recommend Mac H pipe. I would suggest pace-setter or something besides Mac. I heard too many horror stories about Mac stuff.

I just put BBK longtubes and o/r h-pipe on my 90 GT. It sounds great. Longtubes take more time to install than shorties, but I think everyone that has longtubes will agree that it is worth it.

Agreed - when my son and I were installing our long-tubes - I kept asking is it going to be worth the effort? Well now that they're in and running with hi-flow exhaust system. SYSTEM IS AWESOME WITH LONG-TUBES!
