Headers..chip????
Hey guys.im new here..i just bought an 87 GT...Well it has an intake and flowmaster exhaust..but i wanna get headers and a preformance chip..anyone know the best to get..and maybe not that expensive?

BBK's are cheap. they work....
hold off on the chip for now, wait until you get more power. then they will help you. adam

Do the header H or X-pipe and new Muffers will help Gears will to Like a 3.73 and there are little things Cold air kit the heads are one of the weaker points With your car I would not do a cam only 1.72 or you will be needing Mass air on it

When you say "it has an intake" do you mean the actual intake manifold has been upgraded or are you using what the import guys say is an itake when they are referring to the cold air kit?
Get some gears and an h-pipe, your stock headers are fine for now, your money would be better spent elsewhere same goes for the chip. The only thing a chip will do for you is advance your timing which can be done manually for some free hp. When you start getting into the serious power range, thats when you can have a custom chip burned specifically for your combination. hope this helps...
