Equal lengths. Maybe 5 hp more, but future mods will compliment it.

I prefer chrome, but I have heard ceramic isn;t that bad.

i went with the un-equal lengths, just because i didnt think that it would be worth the hassle of wrestling them in there, i had the same exact setup on my old car, that i do now, exept i had equal lengths on my 89 and i have un-equal on my 95 and i really dont see any difference. i have the ceramic coated ones and they are ok, i just dont like how they look.

the equal lengths do deliver more hp due to the better scavenging because of the equal length, but they are harder to install. The only problem is that you have to jack up the motor on the passenger side to get the passenger side header on. i have the BBK 1 5/8" chrome equal length headers and they have held up great for 5 years, but if i had to do it again i would get the ceramic coated ones. They last longer and they keep heat in the exhaust to help improve scavenging, plus keep a little out from under the hood. good luck

If you get equal length shorties (as apposed to long tube equal lengths), you don't need to jack up your motor or anything.
