Question Heads: Edelbrock vs. TFS

I've seen TFS guys push close to 400 HP, but I hear Edelbrock Performer 5.0 is really good on the street. I'll need something streetable and driveable down to about 1700 RPMs. Probably have World Class T5 and 4.10 with a decently large cam. What's the comparison for the TFS, Performer 5.0's, and Performer RPMs?

well, i personally like the trick flows, but as for something streetable down at 1600rpms, its not the heads, but the cam, if you use the tfs heads & intake on a stock motor, ive seen a guy run 12.7 with the stock cam on a 98 gt.
i am going with the trick flow.

later...

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads are not only excellent higher rpm flowing, but they perform great down low too.

The TFS heads have the Edelbrocks whooped.

My buddy is stock cammed w/ GT-40 intake and unported(per say) Iron GT-40 heads. He has gone 12.40
I am doing the edelbrocks right now(should be done in two weeks)
They are ported pretty good...not too opened up but cleaned really well.
W/ the extrude honed cobra intake...i am expecting to go about 12.00-12.20
That is b-cam w/ 1.7's
If you go w/ the TFS..make sure you get 2nd gen heads...my other buddy sent 3 sets back from valve guide problems. They only lasted about 5000 miles each.
Performance wise....i think they are about close. I wouldn't go performer rpm...they are 2.02 valves......so are the twisted wedge..but i know people w/ the tfs heads and no fly-cut pistons...don't know anyone w/ rpm's...so don't know if they work...edelbrock say's "no" w/ stockers.
