The 1.7's will give you a little more lift but the duration will stay the same.

I saw in another thread, some guy said it can slightly increase dur, but i can not back that up at all.
either way i like my 1.7's, but on a built stroker, id go for 1.6's just for reliability purposes, less stress i guess you can say.

1.7's will give you more lift. But NOT more duration.

Take the LOBE lift spec of the cam, multiply it by 1.6, that'll be your advertised lift with the 1.6 rockers. muliply lobe lift by 1.7, you guessed it, advertised lift with the 1.7's.

I have a set of 1.7's on my 347, and have had ZERO problems. Stud girdle might be a good idea though.
