			 Hey everyone....

I'm going to be moving from New Jersey to California. My question is how will I be able to get my 88 notch legal to cruse on the streets? I know there strick with the smog, and in NJ the car just isn't inspected. The car is a street/strip car but it was originally a 4cyl. I'd hate to sell this car, i've had it for 8yrs and shes a beauty and my friend that just passed away painted her.... Any help would be great.... Thanks ![]()

Why can't you keep the Jersey registration...maybe at a friend or relative's address?

If that doesn't work, you can find a smog station that will accept a "donation" of two or three C-notes. That's how I get my non-catted LX through every two years.

When I was stationed out there, the mod list was still low, but I kept the stock H-pipe around for the inspection and that worked. Now when I go back, I'll be keeping Texas Registration on the car. Where in Cali are you moving?
