![]() I just tried to start my mustang with the new tranny and the starter wont engage the flywheel. I have a McCloud blowproof bellhousing and I ground out the spacer (like my instructions said) so the starter is setting farther out. Is that where the starter is supposed to be for a tremec 3550. It sounds like the starter is kicking out to try to engage but I must have put the starter out to far on the bellhousing. Also, the clutch pedal safty switch isnt working. I unplugged 3 connectors on the clutch pedal and still could get the starter to spin.
Thanks, Greg |
