Post HELP FAST!!! Which cam pin????

I was told that I should use the Long one but Crane says the short one. 73-79 Long, 80 and later short. Which is it?????????

Also it looks like the washer will keep the short one from falling out but if it slides forward into the gear during driving only a small piece will be holding the cam.

Help Paul

Someone has to know this.

I'm a 92 and the last time I did the cam I used the long one on an E303. But now I open the box on my new cam (Crane 2030) and there's a note from Crane that says use the short one for 80 and later.

I'm putting everthing back together today!!

HELP
Paul

Cool

Paul, I just installed my new Anderson cam this weekend in my 91GT. You need to use the small pin, if you use the ong pin you will need to grind it off so it is even with the timing gear. My Lunati I had came with the long pin only and I had to grind it down.
