![]() Hey guys, my Mustang is parked about a mile and a half away from the house on a very busy street and it's not running, or at least won't stay running...
I was in 4th@40 cruising in the rain(not that it matters) and suddenly had 1 violent stutter like the fuel cut out briefly, I immediately removed my foot from the gas and after a quick guage check reapplied the gas and boom another. Then it stalled so I pulled over and it woudn't start. Checked under the hood all wires were in place at the coil, ignition, plugs etc. Got back in and turned the key and immediately noticed the fuel pump didn't kick on, so after a few tries it turned on and I could here a clicking sound coming from the fuse panel area, the car started and I let it run for 2 minutes and a click and it was stalled. I checked all the fuses it they look good...is there a fuel relay there somewhere? What is the clicking? Is my pump shot or just a relay? or something else? PLEASE HELP the car is stranded by it's lonesome! Thank you in advance! ![]()
