Help with Hood Adjustment!!!

I have recently installed a Harwood 2 1/2 Cowl hood on my 89 coupe. The front aligns fine but the rear is about a 1/2 inch to high. Are the hood hinges adjustable? Has anyone had this problem? Please adive what I can do to fix.

Yes, the hood hinges are adjustable. Loosen the bolts to the firewall, and you can slide them down. They might stick, theres some rubber boots behind them that sticks to the hinges. Just pull the hinges and the rubber boots, then reinstall and adjust.

...and if that dont work, you can actually hand-bend the hinges to give you some adjustability. I didnt have to, but others like that gap in the rear of a stock hood...
