help my brain went south
I cant remember for the life of me how to get the fuel clips off that go to the fuel filter and pump lines. it was only a year ago I did the pump and filter..

yes the ones that go to the fuel filter
and do I have to use those kind of clamps or can I use diff ones once I get them off

I have been working on fords for 8 years. I hate those plastic p.o.s!! I always break them off since you get new ones with your new pump and filter. If you didn't get new ones, then you can use regular hose clamps. Just be sure you clamp the **** out of them. I do not recommend using anything but the plastic ones unless it is a last resort.

to give you a little more info
I am getting a new filter but the pump I am pulling out of my old car (frpp 190lph) to put is this car the pump is only about 6 months old and so is the filter but Im going to get a new filter anyway

If the "sock" is looking dirty, I would get a new one. They are like $5. Just in case, the sock is the white filter on the bottom of the pump. It is a good idea to change the fuel filter too. Especially if it has been sitting awhile. BTW it is a PITA if you try to change clamping methods on your fuel lines. The big black clip on the end of the fuel line is made into the fuel line. I am talking about on the rubber hose. So if you cut it off, it is not fun forcing it over the metal lines on top of the tank. But they will go.
