Help with PMS Install(94-95)...
 

Hey everyone,

I got my PMS today(for 94-95) and am a little confused. I bought it from someone and am not concerned that it is bad or anything.

Anyway, I have the directions, but this has some extras...

1. This has a boost sensor on that. I am not using a blower, so can I just cap the vacuum port? I reviewed the manual and it says it doesn't look at this unless you set a boost setting. So, I am thinking if I just cap the port, I can leave it.

2. There is one wire in the harness, red with orange/yellow wire that is cut. I was told this was suppose to be this way. Anybody know this for sure?

3. There are two connectors that plug into the PMS box, a short and long one. Coming off the long one are three black wires spliced into one connector. Is this a ground, I assume it is? This is not listed in the directions, but perhaps was added for some other reason???

I just don't want to hook this up and mess something up. The directions do not talk about these extras. otherwise it's just putting a connector in-line with the harness...
