Have had average luck with Vortech, had to have a rebuild done on a 8psi setup after only 27k miles, only saw maybe 10 passes in 27k miles and regular road driving. I produce 8psi at 5600rpms, she actually kicks in around 3k rpms. Time increase on the 1/4 has yet to be determined, but she feels hella stronger IMO. I would recommend turbo though, you can go single turbo with no intercooler fairly cheap and not put the strain on your crank and also produce full boost all through the rpm range vise building as you go. Either way you go and whatever you choose, remember fuel and spark upgrades are musts with forced air induction, so always add $$ to whatever kit you are looking to purchase, lots of SC kits come with fuel upgrades. Good luck.
