HELP! Transgo shift kit

I need some help. I'm putting in the shift kit but I got to the pressure regulator valve and there is a cone piece that fits in there. The video doesn't mention this piece. Which was does it go back in- small side first or large end first? Please help!

Figured it out/ won't go but one way.
