Help with tuning

I have a 87 GT with MAC shorty headers, h-pipe, cold air fenderwell kit, underdrive pulleys, electric fan, 3.55 gear, weld wheels, my timing is set advanced 14 degrees, smog pump removed, TPS set at .974. Can anyone give me some more tips on tuning the car for more power? Also if anyone is running a similar set what kind of power is this products making?

Mustang tuning and maintenance

Use Autolight #25 spark plugs. Gap at .055. Change every 12,000 -15,000 miles.

Install high quality plug wires (your choice). Change every three years.

Install a brass-terminal cap and new rotor every 15,000 miles.

Change the PCV valve (and screen ) and the gas filter every 15 ,000 - 20,000 miles.

Clean and re-oil the K&N filter every six months or 6,000 miles. Ignore the insane cleaning intervals the K&N instructions give you (50,000 miles). A K&N tune-up kit is cheap and cleaning is easy.

Play around with timing, especially if you're at a track where you can compare your et. 14 degrees initial is usually the optimal timing advance on a near-stock 5.0 (what I run on mine) but sometimes you can go to 16 with better results or maybe 12 degrees will run even better. Experiment.

Always watch your tire inflation. Fill to just under the max pressure and check it weekly (on cool tires).
