95' 5.0 ltr lemmon

Today i bought my first mustang, Its a 95' 5.0 This car was previously owned by a steet racer.. which i did not see when i bought it from the dealer.

I have serveral problems, and i really dont want to go spend another couple thousand on a mechanic.. i want to try to fix it myself. so here is my problem.

Fist off the mustang doesnot provide any kick when i push the gas.. it slowly takes off.. ive been in my friends before and i know what it should feel like.. That is my biggiest problem.. any idea what that is?

Seconds off i have tons and tons of cut wires in there from the 6 LED's on the bottom to the old ripped out stero cables.. The truck is aligned with some type of aluminium covering with Monster inc. cables running into the back.. Which they probley had some serious equiptment in the back.. which is also.. all torn out.

If anyone could answer the question above, and also recommend a few technical mustang guides it would be apreciated.
