![]() Well unless you get a 2.5 h-pipe, you wont get anything noticeable but sound with the mufflers, go to www.mustangexhaust.com
A 2-1/2 catback might give you a few hp, but if you can do headers, h-pipe, and catback you will really feel a difference, i do know when i put my 2-1/2 tailpipes on my (flowmasters that were already on the car), made a slight difference in sound and performance, more than the stock 2-1/4 pipes. btw, do you like the humm of turbo mufflers? or the deep drone of mufflers like flow's, or spintech? go to the site.

![]() I just put a Magnaflow cat-back on my 91 GT. Sounds damn good. The Magnaflow system only cost 325 shipped from Brothers and it's all stainless steel. It looks good too, even though you'll never see it. I have a Mac on my 90, it's alright, but I prefer the Magnaflow.

![]() It's not aluminized. The Mac is and the quality isn't that great. It's all stainless with polished mufflers and tailpipes. The tailpipes are 3" and adjustable. I'm very impressed with the quality for the bucks. The only problem was with the passenger side tailpipe. I just had to tweak it a little bit. Probably because of the diameter. I thought it was too good to be true about what you get for the price, vut I gave it a shot anyway. Now I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Brothers was the cheapest I found. They also did a great job and had them shipped to Dallas in three days.

![]() If you are looking for something not to loud or emmisions safe i would say go with some headers, i personally like the bbk equal length shorties, and the magnaflow system witht eh catback and mufflers.
On the other hand, if you want a car with a sound that will stand out and sound mean and arent worried about emmisions heres what i did: I ordered the BBK EL shorties and 2 dual chamber Flows for my mufflers with the 2.5 offset in-out then I took the cat-back off and installed my headers and ran open headers to the exaust shop. Then i had them bend and run some 2.5 pipe dualed out str8 to the flows and dump it. Sounds extremely freat and gave me a nice power gain but if you get it done have them put in a X-pipe or H-pipe. Not sure about the Magnaflow catback prices but i picked up the BBK headers- chrome finish- for $154.99 (ceramic is like $50 more) and the Flows were $54/each @ Tommy Vaughns Ford Racing in Houston. Check out www.fordracing.com . The cost of the instal and pipe they used was like $160 so it was worth the money. If you plan on using the setup or antyhgin that i used then let me know and ill give you part #'s to look up on ford racing. Bryan |
