Default Help with wirng on my '86 V6 - V8 conversion

I got the engine in the car (from a '86 lincon mark VII), and I got a main wiring harness from an '86 Mustang 5.0.

First off, theres like 4 plugs on the main harness(the one the computer's attatched to) There on the the part of the harness when it first enters the engine area, I think one of them is probaly for AC, but Ive eliminated a/c on my car. Anyone know what the rest of them are for? They've got nothing to plug into.

Second, Will I need a new harness for the front of my car(the one that ties into the headlights, alternator, parking lights, horn)? Because the V6 alternator wiring doesnt match my V8 alternator. Can I just use my V6 alternator temporarily? Or can I just buy an older style V8 alternator that could work with my front wiring?

Any input is appreciated
