What I really meant was...Has anyone used 295/50/15 on a 87-93 GT with quad shocks?
Disregard my prior posting...Has anyone used this size tire on a stock car? Do they rub at all?

They will work on an LX but NOT on a GT. You will need to roll the inside of the fender lips or they will get shredded by the quarter pannel. Also, if your car is lowered they cannot be used. On my lowered 88GT I use 265/50/15s and they work fine. But my buddy has 295/50/15s on a 8inch rim and they work fine. Just remember, make sure the car isn't lowered and roll the inner fender lips.
