Post Hesitation?

My car has sort of a hesitation in it around 2000 to 3000 rpm. Someone told me that 30 lb injectors were too big so I took off my buddies 24# and his Pro-M 75mm and tried it. It would backfire through the intake when it was cold with his stuff on it. It feels like there is something restricting my car. Do I need to get a Programable ignition system for my car to eliminate this problem?

Well my car acts just like the cam is loping, but it shouldn't be doing that at that rpm. Thought it was loading up on fuel so I tried the 24# injectors. It just feels lazy until you get to a certain rpm then you can feel it kick in. Something just isn't right. I have the upper intake off it now b/c I am not putting it back together until I get a plenum spacer for it. Would an MSD 6AL ignition system help?
