Hey Guys...Doing another SWAP!!
Well I don't know if anyone remembers me but I have a 1965 Ford Mustang which was originally a 6 cyl. (ICK)...I had to have the mucle so I recently bought an 88 Mustang and redid mine. I took the 5.0 (which had a lot of miles on it, I'm guessing), t5, and the 8.8 rear. Everything went in great and I ran it for a couple of months...but you know something always has to go wrong! I ended up blowing to push rods and a head gasket! Once the motor was apart I found chips and scratches all inside the piston holes...so it was time for a crate
 !! And that is now where I sit...I've pulled the old 5.0 out and now putting the other in....it's a crazy contraption...1965 EFI 302.....I'll put the pics on my webpage once it's done!! Here's the webpage if you guys can check it out and tell me what you think My Webpage !! Thanks! |
