Default Bassani high flow x-pipe

I am about to put a Bassani High flow cat x-pipe on a 1998 Cobra vert. Is this x-pipe any good? any increase in power over stock. It goes into 2 chamber flows. Anyone ever have probelms installing it? Thanks.

No problems installing it....

You will notice a slight decrease in torque but a noticeable difference in the high end....

Exactly...to this day, the Xpipe was my favorite mod on the GT.

Would you notice a better gain off of an X-pipe or an o/r H-pipe? I hear the H sounds better, but what are the performance differences?

The Hpipe makes more torque down low...the X pipe makes more HP up top. The hpipe sounds throatier, deeper...the xpipe is more smooth and nascar like. If you're mostly street racing stop light to stoplight, and you want torque, get a prochamber hpipe. If you're running high speed on the freeway, get an xpipe.
