High Performance Suspension
Hey Guys,
i Have a few questions about Mac Suspension, if you can help please do so. On the Mac adjustable rear controle arms, what is the purpose of being able to adjust them, from the ones you cant adjust? What is the purpose for sub frame connectors? And what exactly does a cold air intake do? |
Adjustments allow for different rides like if you wanna bite down at the track or just cruise around the street you can loosen them up
Sub frame connectors connect the front unibody to the rear unibody to stiffen up your car, there around $40 bucks and weld them in dont bolt, just my .02 Our cars pretty much come stock with a CAI (cold air intake) but basically your engine gets more power from cooler air so drawing air from the fender area is better the drawing hot air from the engine bay. Hope I could help |
i agree with statements above. subframes are a must, i think they are worth every penny, weld on ONLY! as for cold air intake, just remove your stock air silencer and install a K&N in the stock airbox, and you have a cold air intake that is dyno proven to be equal to an aftermarket cold air intake, and you save at least $100! keep in mind its only a couple of horses but every lil bit helps........
