Holley Systemax intake impressions

First off, this intake is not a easy-bake-1-2-3-bolt on. It is a hair tougher than you would think. A lot of the bolts are harder to get at than a Cobra/GT-40, and the vacuum lines are all relocated. Not too big of a deal, just plan on a couple trips to the store for necessary materials not included in the kit. The EGR connects from the lower to the upper externally via a flexible steel tube, and is a pain in the rear to get a bolt in.
I also had clearance issues with valve covers. I have the taller Motorsport valve covers. The black ones with the raised "COBRA" lettering. I had to grind off a couple of the fins on the drivers side to get it to fit. I could not find a spacer for some reason. The passenger side fit fine.
The seat of the pants road test tells me that this intake makes more power period. For sure up top, and possibly even down low too. It freight-trains' right to 6 grand without a hiccup.

Is it worth the 600 bucks? I'll hit the track this weekend and let everyone know how it turns out.

All the flow numbers that I have seen show that Holley intake flows the best.

I am curious to see how it flows. I always thought that a set of AFR's and a holley intake would be a good combo...

Too bad it's a pain in the arse in install.

The Holley works great for me, but I am making the switch to carburated so I need to sell my Holley intake. If anyone is interested then e-mail me. Thanks
