MADE IT HOME WITH MY NEW TOY!!! - msg for fiveohpatrol too
I drove from mid-western Indiana to Knoxville Tennessee to pick up an 88 Notchback shell. Wow. That was a long trip. 450 miles each way and the trip went without a single problem. I took a lot of pics of the journey and will post them as soon as I get the film developed. Just wanted to let my buddies know I made it home OK.
Drew, we ended up staying over night and I forgot your number at home so I kinda screwed that one up. I'll try to get that block from your buddy somehow in the near future.

I got an email from Tim and he said he'd help me build one of these beasts so could you get it to his house? I'll give you the cash next time I see you.

well im not sure how i'd get it there. my brother does have a truck, but if i had that, then id have to leave the keys to my stang for him to drive, and i'd rather not let him drive it with me not in the car. He went through 2 AODs in my dad's old 95GT in a little over a year and a brand new clutch in a T/A in like 6months
so your gonna be building the motor at tim's house? i may be doing the same thing if i ever get the motor from my buddy who is getting a brand new shortblock and giving me his old one

Yeah, Tim offered to help me out with it. I'll just drive up there and yank the thing apart and throw the block in the back of the Neon. It should be able to handle it. It hauled my T-5 around for a week or two

Don't take this the wrong way 2FastLX, but I had a short dream about you last night...
Reason being that I am about to purchase a 1991 LX hatchback (4 cylinder) and my brain must have put your post her at MW and what I'm doing together into a funky dream. I'm so ******* happy. This'll be my work car. Glad yours went okay.....

That's weird. You must spend too much time on here like I do
I would like to find a 4cyl Notch to fix up for a daily driver, but I think people would think I was starting a Mustang ranch in my yard. Garage goes up next spring!
