horsepower rating?
 

Can someone help me with some specs. on a 92 5.0 Stang?I was told it is a police edition.Need H.P. ratings and any other tech specs.Thanks alot!

It's rated at 225hp, but is honestly between 190 and 210 hp @4500rpm, depending on which method you use to measure it. The Police package was mostly suspension and removal of options. The engine is the same as the regular Mustang.

Hp ratings on Police package cars are the same as regular 5.0's. They do have a different fan clutch and an oil cooler. There may be a few more items but they are more for longevity under harsh use rather than increased power.

they also have holes all over the freakin dash and console, well atleast mine does

one thing i really like about it, although not a real big deal, is they relocated the trunk release to right next to the steering column from the glovebox

a few of the things that some have, some dont (depends on what state its from) are:
oil cooler(mine)/tranny cooler(mine)/reinforced floor pans (not sure mine or not)/ same key for doors and ignition (mine,i like this too)/ wrecked front ends replaced with a cheap cover (mine)/ block heater(mine)/ black ten holes (wheels, not mine thank god)/ full size spare (not mine)/ looser fan clutch (mine), and a few others i cant remember
