How Accurate Is The Fuel Injector/Fuel Pressure Calculator?
was playing around on there, and it said with my setup if i was seeing 330ish hp my fuel pressure with 30lbers should be like 28 or so? im running 39psi and i know it is overfueling, but would i be safe down to about 32psi? or is that getting a little too low for a hci setup on 30lbers?

What are your mods and have you been to the dyno?
Turning down the fuel pressure is your only option unless you are going to pay to get it tuned or buy a TWEECER. You would be better off downsizing your injectors IMO. |

ive got edelbrock 60379 heads, 1.7rr's, crane "e" cam, cobra intake, 70mm t-body, 73mm c&l(matched to the 30lbers), 30lb fms injectors, asjustable regulator, 190lph pump, pulleys, full exhaust, taurus 3 speed fan, blah blah blah, probably lots of little stuff that i forgot, but basically all boltons. |
Re: How Accurate Is The Fuel Injector/Fuel Pressure Calculator?
If your MAF is calibrated to the injectors you don't need to turn down the fuel pressure at all. The computer will only add the fuel it needs for any given amount of airflow.

Are you going to run a dry or wet nitrous kit?

Re: How Accurate Is The Fuel Injector/Fuel Pressure Calculator?
im going to run a dry kit, dont want to chance fuel puddling in the intake

Re: How Accurate Is The Fuel Injector/Fuel Pressure Calculator?
Turn it back to 39-40 psi. If the injectors and MAF are matched, the computer will only add the amount of fuel necessary to go with the amount of air measured by the MAF.

Re: How Accurate Is The Fuel Injector/Fuel Pressure Calculator?
ok, i will do that tonight, as for clocking, which way should i go? im running a k&n pannel in the stock airbox with the stock tube to the t-body???(my problem is when clocking, i can only go from 12 to 3 because the strut tower brace gets in the way, but i can go from 12 counterclockwise to 3)

Re: How Accurate Is The Fuel Injector/Fuel Pressure Calculator?
My friend tried "clocking" his maf, it just slowed him down.
Also, It's too bad your running a c&L 73, the one i had sucked, I couldnt get it to idle right. But thats just my experience. Another thing, I know a guy spraying a wet 125 shot, he has 30#'s and gets no fuel puddling, just got to make sure everything is working correctly, he did have a big backfire off the line one night, blew his open element filter apart, since then he added a nos delay box, and no more backfires. |

I love my 73mm C&L MAM.
What do your spark plugs like after you have ran the car hard? |
