How to change from a roller to solid??
When my afr 205's and TF-R intake comes in, I will be running solid lifters and cam. What all do I have to do to make the switch from roller lifters to solid? Just a simple swap?? I believe I get rid of the X-Connectors that hook the roller lifters together..

Switching to a solid roler can be expensive. It put allot of added stress on the valvetrain so you will need to get good strong parts. This is what I would do to be safe.
One peice pushrods titanium locks and retainers new springs and a stud girdle to keep it all on track. If you order your heads complete you can tell them you are runing a solid cam and they can make the changes. ------------------ 79 hatch w/ NA 347,stage 2 Canfield heads, out of the box Victor 5.0 intake, solid roller cam, Aeromotive fuel system, proshifted TKO II.MY CAR http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/...splay.cgi?1288 93lx all stock + tremec |
