Default how do I fix this?

My windshield washer switch has been tempermental for the last year. Needed to be messed with to get the delay to work, sometimes the delay wouldn't work at all. Now I find that they don't come on at all. However, if I press it in fluid sprays and it turns on for three passes. Do I need a new switch? How do I get my wipers back?

Cool

I had to change the motor itself on mine, it was not a bad job. If you are unsure of where the problem is, put it in the shop, it will cost less than changing parts till it works right.

Default

if the wipers activate everytime you use the spray then it sounds like the motor is ok, replace the switch, or look for cracked or burnt wires around the motor that could be interrupting the signal, I have seen many cars with new wiper switches without having to actually change one myself, so it must be common...
