Default 2000 rear in a 1994

I was wondering if a complete Rear end from a 2000 GT will fit into a 1994 Mustang. Are they the same size? Is it an easy swap? I have the 7.5" in the v-6 I want to switch to the 8.8". Will I need the drive shaft too? Thanks.

There is actually companies that will "rebody" a 1994 to 1998 mustang with the new body style front and rear ends.... I saw ads for it in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine. You may want to do a search online for it. I think it costed somewhere around a grand to do it though. I will look in some past issues and if I find it, I will post a link.

I'm not sure if everything will bolt up. It should. The transmissions are definately different, so I assume you'll need a different drive shaft.
