How do i identify my mustang's computer

how would i find out what computer is in my mustangs. one is an 87 and other 89. not sure if the 89 has the proper one in it so i want to find out. do they have years stamped on them or something? , thanks

They have a code on them, I don't know the different codes but there are those on this board that do know.

I assume that they have a code written on them. The computer is behind the passenger side kick panel (right), just take that off and you'll see it. You can grab the code off it and post it here, someone can help you out.

I think they have a piece of tape with the info on it. I replaced my computer years ago but I seem to remember an info label... I could be mistaken.

can anybody tell me about these numbers?
