Default how do i put a rear main seal in

i mean i know where it is but is there a specaial way to put it in i ussually use a oil filter wrench that goes around the outside of the seal and hammer it in i was wondering how other people did it

I just used the old seal I just pulled out to tap in the new one.

That's how I did mine too

I didn't know what to use and spent 15 minutes looking for something the right size and then saw the old seal lying on the ground where I threw it. Worked like a charm

Another thing that helps is just put a LITTLE bit of silicone (I used the clear stuff) around the the seal just as you would oil or greese... It acts as grease going in and gives it slightly a tougher seal afterwards. I have a habbit of downshifting too much and mine still hasn't brocken the seal again.
