![]() Well - our project car will be heading to the local track, to give my 17-year old a taste of straight line racing. The local track is an 1/8 mile and bracket racing.
What do you guys think our car can do in the 1/8 and 1/4 miles with these first step mods? MAC Long-tube headers and hi-flow catback setup, underdrive pullies, CenterForce dual-friction clutch, BlackMagic fan. Everything else is pure stock. Next mods will be to the rear 3.73, EastonPosi, 31spline axles. Over the winter convert to MAF, heads, cam, intake change. |

![]() My guess would be a 14.8 @ 94.
My buddy has an 88 GT and that's about where he was with similar mods. E

![]() it's a 5-speed. Took my son out yesterday to an old abandon parking lot to get him a little practice with launches. Man this really is a blast with this project car with him!

![]() I think You could hit a 9.4 in the 1/8, maybe a 9.3.
I ran a 15.19 @88mph @3000ft when my 88GT vert was stock.
