how to identify mexican block?

How do I identify a mexican block? Thanks

I don't know about the casting numbers, but I can tell you the main caps are visually a lot beefier. I can visualize the differences but I can't describe them well.

They will say "MEX" in small lettering around the distributor hole.

they say 'hecho en mexico' in the lifter valley also

The letters MF are by the distributor hole. The F is made by attaching the two horizontal lines to the last vertical line of the M.
