How much friction modifier?

I had to take the cover off of my differential a few days after rebuilding my trac lock to fix a leak in the gasket. I reused the fluid i drained out and had to add about another quart to it. I had put 4 ounces of modifier in the oil to start with, so i'm wondering if i dilluted it too much when i added more oil. I'm sure a percentage of the modifier leaked out with the oil but i'm thinking a lot of it probably stayed in the axle tubes when i drained the oil out. So do you think i'm at a safe level right now or should i add a little more modifier?

More modifier

I would add another ounce. Not that difficult and it'll give you peace of mind.

I added approximately an ounce to it, i'm not sure how much is in it total though. As long as i don't hear any strange noises i should be safe though right? It isn't giving me any problems and locks the axles together fine. When i turn i don't notice any grinding or such.

Relax

You're fine.

If you were too low on modifier you would hear it from the rear.

Relax. Enjoy.

89.........you do realize friction modifier is to make it slip not stick?

yep, I just don't want it to stick so much that it wears the clutches out fast. Its locking together fine now even with one tire on a slick surface and one on pavement. So i'm happy with it.
