Question How much money will it cost?

If i wanted to get gears installed on my stang, how much would it cost? I want to get gears next, but i will only buy them when i can afford them and the installation. Thanks for the help.

I think around $250 is fair. It's not a fun project. Shop around and talk to people in your area.

The gears cost around $180(last I checked) and labor usually cost between $200-250 around here. I had mine put in for $75(and to think.. I thought I got a deal!LOL).

Do as I do. Call all your buds and offer them money or beer. If you don't have any Mustang buds there are plenty to be found here!

Best thing about it is you can help do the install and learn to do it yourself.

Oops! I shoulda said $200 on top of the cost of the gear. By parts I meant shims, seals, and oil.

DemonGT- from the looks of it it might look like you need some body work done on your driver side as well..I see a few nice dents and dings in it.

I paid $450 or $500 for mine including the FMS (now FRPP) gear and all incidental parts and labor. You ought to check around where your at to get quotes. Call a local speedshop. You might get better deals down there in Florida than I do up here in Chicago.
