HP ANYONE??

I was wondering about how much HP my '86 GT is putting to the ground. The mods are as follows:

EXHAUST: BBK shorty, unequal length hedders, custome 2 1/2" off-road X-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers w/dumps

INTAKE:BBK Fenderwell cold air, 70mm TB w/spacer

IGNITION: Crane HI-6 w/coil, FMS 9mm wires, Platinum +4 plugs

SUSPENSION: Steeda Strut tower brace, Steeda weld-in subframes, Neuspeed lowering springs, KYB shocks/struts, Pro3i castor/camber plates, PST Polygraphite bushings all around

OTHER: AFS Cobrar 17" rims w/Pirelli tires (255/40/17)

The car is a 5-speed 160,000 mile daily driver, I picked it up for a meager $700 and I don't know if the previous owners did any internal engine work, all of the guys w/stangs around VA Beach think it is very quick for being stock at the time of purchase.

Also does anyone know what size gears a stock 86 5.0 came with?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You probably have about 190-200 flywheel horsepower with the mods and being worn out. As far as gears go you probably have some granny gears in there around 3:00. For $700 you can't beat it!

stock the '86 mustang 5.0 EFI HO engine came with i believe 200 horsepower and the power you have now greatly depends on how much compression is left. If it has good compression it may have close to 230 NET horsepower mostly because it seems alot of the stuff on that is mismatched. The heads are REALLY restrictive stock and your vehicle has very low back pressure exhaust and intake, but if the engine has some work done to it, it very well could have ALOT more. The only way to say for sure is to run it at a track, get it weighed and then one of the many calculators available (there's one on this site) will give you an indication as to how much power you have....which is alot of work but is one way (besides just getting it dynoed) to figure it out.
-How did you get it so cheap??? Is there anything majorly wrong with it?
